New etch imitation: Ultra Glass LEDGL 913

01/09/2024

For matt surfaces and more design variety on glass without etching chemicals.

The new Ultra Glass LEDGL 913 etch imitation expands our proven LEDGL portfolio for high-quality surface finishing on glass. It can be used to print matt surfaces without the need to use etching chemicals.

The advantage

Particularly impressive results, partial or full-surface, can be achieved with the matt varnish on drinking glasses and bottles using screen printing. The matt varnish gives glass bottles a special look and feel with very good abrasion resistance. Working with the Ultra Glass LEDGL 913 is also safer and less time-consuming than applications with etching chemicals.

All products in the LEDGL colour series can be cured with LED or UV lamps. LED curing saves at least 50 per cent energy compared to conventional UV tubes. The print preparation for the new etch imitation is the same as for all other LEDGL colour shades: we recommend pre-treatment, a 140-31 screen and subsequent LED curing.

The new Ultra Glass LEDGL 913 etch imitation expands our proven Ultra Glass LEDGL portfolio for even more design variety and special effects on glass. It can be used to print matt surfaces without the use of etching chemicals.

The main advantage

Working with Ultra Glass LEDGL 913 is safer and less time-consuming than working with etching chemicals. However, the desired look and feel of drinking glasses or bottles is the same.

All products in the LEDGL range can be cured with LED light, making them an energy-saving solution for printing on glass. The print preparation for the new etch imitation is the same as for all other LEDGL inks: we recommend pre-treatment, a 140-31 screen and subsequent LED curing.
